What Should You Quit Doing?

As we move into a new year, most of my clients are planning to add more—more goals, more tasks, more pressure.

But maybe the real growth comes from letting go.

So I’ll ask you:

👉 What should you quit doing?

Not in a burnout-fueled, “I’m done with everything” kind of way.

But in a thoughtful, strategic way that clears space for what matters most.

Here are a few places to look:

🛑 Relationships

  • Toxic friendships

  • Unproductive dating dynamics

  • Employers or clients who drain you

  • Team members who are no longer a fit

🛑 Habits

  • Late-night scrolling

  • News binging

  • Defaulting to social media or distractions

🛑 Work Activities

  • Marketing efforts that aren’t working

  • Busywork disguised as productivity

  • Workouts that don’t align with your goals

You don’t need to add more to make progress.
Sometimes, quitting the right things is the most powerful move you can make.
